Prairie Gardens is an award-winning 35-acre destination greenhouse, strawberry & pumpkin farm with a 7 acre Corn Maze located near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada at Bon Accord. Prairie Gardens is a great place for gardeners, families and family fun! Come for our festivals, a group outing, to U-Pick strawberries, or just to get lost for a few hours in Edmonton's Countryside.
We're famous for our gorgeous hanging baskets, delicious U-Pick Alberta Strawberries in July, the Great Prairie Corn Maze, and Haunted Pumpkin Festival every weekend in October!

Strawberry Farm Safaris Join us at the U-Pick for a sweet adventure the kids will long remember! Wagon rides, strawberry pickin' and bale mazes are just part of the fun.

Corn Maze Adventures The Great Prairie Corn Maze opens on the long weekend of August. This day trip is a cool excursion into Edmonton's Countryside for groups, company picnics, social club outings, or family fun!

Strawberries in Edmonton, Alberta are in season
July 10- August 5
Summer brings U-Pick Strawberries in July, with pick-your-own family fun, and day camps -Strawberry Farm Safaris. The season runs from around July 15th to August 10th. The peak of the strawberry season picking usually runs the third week of July. Peas and potatoes are ready then, too.
On the long weekend of August, we hold the Fairy Berry Festival - a celebration of the end of berry season's sweetest berries and the Grand Opening of the Great Prairie Corn Maze.
Wagon rides, petting farm, enchanted forest, puppet show, kids games, sack races, Kids Corny Mini-Mazes, a Hampton Court Bale Maze and kids games like the Fishin' Pond make for an enchanted adventure.

Great Prairie Corn Maze

Open August 1 - November 1, 2009
The Great Prairie Corn Maze is open August through October when you can take a wagon ride through beautifully landscaped gardens to our a-maizing Canada’ largest Dragon - cut into our Edmonton area corn maze.
Over five km of maze-ways wind through the towering corn. Buy a Season’s Family Pass, reserve a campfire site for your group outing, church picnic, or youth group! It’s a Discover Fest of activities!

Haunted Pumpkin Festival

Weekends in October
October 3- November 1
In October, fall family fun at our pumpkin patch is pumpkin picking, making scarecrows, kid’s Puppet Shows, the infamous Pumpkin Cannon, and Halloween fun that is sure to give you a spooktacular fright – Alberta style. Enjoy Prairie Garden’s Haunted Pumpkin Festival.
During the weekdays come for school tours, club celebrations, and children's birthday parties. Weekends - bring the kids for wholesome Fall Family Fun.
Our farm tours, festivals, pumpkin picking, and hayrides provide a full day of family fun in Edmonton's Countryside!

Come see our original Puppet Show productions: The Dragon Who Got Lost! Starring Drake the Dragon, this fun 20 minute show has Princess Pumpkin, Queen Bee, Fairies, and Sir LunchaLot lost and found in the corn maze. |
