Prairie Gardens & Greenhouses Bon Accord

Prairie Gardens and Adventure Farm is an award winning 35-acre adventure farm filled with good old-fashioned family fun things to do & family friendly attractions in the Edmonton region. There are over 50 fun family activities including 3 mindbender corn mazes. Located in scenic Sturgeon County, it’s just a short 25 minute drive north of Edmontonon HWY 28 (97St.). Since 1956, there have been over 1 million visitors to the farm, an ideal location for your next family outing, school field trip, company picnic or team building retreat!

Magical themed festivals and events run from April – December. During July and August, there are U-Pick strawberries & vegetables, plus a fall pumpkin patch with over 40 varieties of pumpkins fresh picked from the fields at the farm. From May to July, you’ll find unique and beautiful flowering container gardens, hardy fruit trees, and rare perennials, which are on display and for sale in the greenhouse and garden centre.

June 1- Little Tykes Kids Fun Zone Opens

There are over 50 fun things to do at the farm this summer! New this year? Our Little Tykes Kids Fun Zone. Featuring good ole' fashioned fun for kids 12 and under, it's a great daytrip adventure!

Spring Hours 9am -9pm

Every day except Sundays when we close at 6pm

Open from April to October, we grow our own annuals, veggies, herbs, and perennials.

June 16 - September 15 Summer hours: 10-6 Daily

We are a family business that has proudly served the Edmonton area since 1956 with hardy ornamental trees, fruits, apples, berries, custom planted patio containers, and gorgeous hanging baskets.

Educational Programs at Prairie Gardens

Spring School Field Trips for Preschool, Kintergarten, Grades 1, 2 & 3

Spring Gardening, Rocks & Minerals, Combo BYO Lunch Programs, and Year End School Parties

This school field trip is geared for youth ages 3 to 9. Active, engaging adventures to explore the farm and nature, complete with indoor snowball fights, and outdoor games like bale mazes, hay rides and how things grow hands-on projects around the farm.

Some field trips may require an additional nominal fee for the crafts.
