School Field Trips - Scarecrows, Pumpkins and Fall in the Country Program
Prairie Gardens tour guides will provide an enjoyable, educational tour especially designed for preschool, kindergarten or grade 1. The children will enjoy a wagon ride, make real scarecrows, experience a farm puppet show, corn maze and a petting farm. If they are brave, they will have the option of experiencing the haunted house and the “enchanted woods”. The children will also enjoy a Halloween/pumpkin cookie, take home a mini pumpkin and receive a $5 Off Family Admission coupon to be used at the Haunted Pumpkin Festival. Optional: Parents can also purchase additional mini-pumpkins for $1.00. Please bring your own beverages for the children.
Spring Roots, Shoots, and Blossoms Tour Programs are available in May and June.
Strawberry Farm Safari and Corn Maze programs are available in July, August and September.
Birthday Parties for Kids at the Haunted Pumpkin Festival
Celebrate your child's birthday with a fun outdoor adventure! Birthday party packages are available from August to October at the Great Prairie Corn Maze. There are bushels of outdoor activities in store - mazes, mini mazes, wagon rides, petting farm, bale jumps, 'gem' mining, enchanted forest, haunted house, exploring the farm, campfire sites and just being kids! Birthday cabins and campfire sites are available by reservation. October hours are 11am- 5pm on weekends.

The Prairie Gardens Maze Challenge
Get lost, be found! This teambuilding fun will have you going in circles, squares, and up over the bridge! With added puzzle elements, our Mazes will bewilder and most certainly entertain. The new 2008 Dragon Maze will have you tracking the trail of the dragons! This new team challenge utilizes the Farm’s incredible growing cornfield maze, as well as our unique bale mazes and pumpkin cannon!
Other Activities included in the Prairie Gardens Retreat Experience include: a Country BBQ, Campfires and Hot-dog Roasts, Gift Shops, Tours, Luncheons, Wagon rides, Volleyball, Tug-of-War and Three-Legged, Frisbee/Ultimate, Sack Races, Puppet Shows, Lawn Games (Croquet and Bocce), and Horseshoes. Beer and Wine service is available upon request.
Indoor and Outdoor Seating Facilities
The Greenhouse Pavilion is a large greenhouse structure filled with beautiful seasonal display and seats up to 100 persons. Rectangular tables and folding chairs are included.
