May - June It's Gardening Season!
The miracle of the great cycle of life has begun in our Edmonton area greenhouses and garden centre operations. We grow our own local bedding plants and container plants from scratch, and the planting season is just getting underway!
We are pleased to announce that we are the recipient of the 2008 Alberta's Greenhouse Grower of the Year award, and we are celebrating our 25th anniversary this year. We are growing superb new flowers & veggies, with over 20 varieties of heriloom tomatoes, and specialize in hardy perennials for our zone 2 climate, and offer a full line of landscape shrubs, fruits, and trees for the Edmonton region.

It's Summer and that can only mean one thing! Picnics at Prairie Gardens are fun for the campany picnics, or the whole family, starting with the Father's Day Summer Picnic and Country Hoe Down! Or take a trip down memory lane and gather with neighborhood bears at one of our famous Teddy Bear Picnics!
U-Pick Strawberries are sundrenched and ready for pickin' by the middle of July.
Strawberry Farm Safaris and Corn Maze Adventures are fun and educational programs on the farm through July and August.

| Prairie Gardens Strawberry Patch
Come to visit us in July to pick your own sweet sundrenched Alberta strawberries on our farm near Bon Accord, 25 km north of Edmonton on 97st. (HWY28).We also offer u-pick vegetables, wagon rides, petting farm, and a cool bale maze for the kids. Book a birthday party, strawberry safari, or strawberry luncheon.

Alice in Cornland (2010) is a 7 acre huge cornfield maze with 5 km of maze-ways and puzzels to solve. Open July 31 - October 31. Check our hours here.
