It's Pumpkin Time! In October, fall family fun is ripe pumpkin picking, making scarecrows, Puppet Shows, Pumpkin Cannon, and Halloween fun that is sure to give you a spooktacular fright; Alberta style. Enjoy Prairie Gardens Haunted Pumpkin Festival. During the weekdays, come for school tours, and club celebrations, and weekends bring the kids for wholesome Fall Family Fun. |
Prairie Gardens is transformed into a magical farm of pumpkins, scarecrows, and Alberta’s one and only Haunted Pumpkin Festival. Pick-your-own pumpkins, sing along to a puppet show, take a harvest hayrides, solve a maze, take a family photo with a giant puppet, go ‘gem’ mining, paint a pumpkin or learn how to fly with Gritch the Witch, the Pumpkin Princesses, and other strolling characters.

Family Season Pass: $ 49 (for 4 people).

Haunted Pumpkin Festival in October (October 1st – October 31st).
Weekends: Family $35 (of 4) Individual $9.50 Weekdays: Group rate for schools and not-for-profit organizations ($7.50) (Groups are 15 or more)

Join Gritch the Witch, and Amnosia, the witch who is afraid of spiders, for this amusing original 12 minute live puppet show. 4 times daily.
All-New Dragon Corn Maze - Come and see our newest Maze inspired by the Dragons, knights and fairies! The new Maze was designed by Precision Mazes, Kansas, Missouri - one the North America’s premier Maze design firms.
Make and Take a Real Scarecrow - Clothes, head and straw provided. You do the stuffin!
Wagon Rides to the Maze – a fun Hayride that runs continuously.
The Mazes - Amazing Family Fun The Mazes are fun for ages 3 to 93! Fun kid’s bale mazes, to the giant dragon. Mazes take from 10 minutes to 2 hours to complete.
Petting Farm – Come visit the bunnies, sheep and goats!
Corn Cannon - what was that unidentified flying object? Corn, or course. Our corn cannon can launch a cob more than 400 feet!
Play Zone - climb, crawl and balance in our newest play zone beside our kids mini maze. Slides and structures, Bale Jumps, Gem Mining, and Enchanted Forest keep the little ones happy for hours.
Haunted Farm House - Discover what lurks in the darkness of this horror filled 80-year-old truly haunted farm house. Our haunted barn features ghostly apparitions, skeletons and spiders galore, and surprises around every corner. Enter if you dare. Not recommended for kids scared of vampires or for the faint of heart.
