Fall Field Trips to Prairie Garden's Pumpkin Farm

Enjoy the flexibility of a self-guided full day or part day program at Prairie Gardens Pumpkin Farm. We have plenty of room for your self-guided tour on the weekdays through September and October!   Please call ahead to 780.921.2272 to book your date!
  • Self-guided interactive tour around our pumpkin farm and corn maze especially designed for preschool, kindergarten or grade 1. 
  • The children will enjoy a wagon ride, team build real scarecrows, love the farm puppet shows, learn about pumpkins in our indoor pumpkin land, solve the corn maze and enjoy the petting farm. If they are brave, they will have the option of tiptoeing through the haunted house and fairy tale trail. 
  • The children will also enjoy a Halloween cookie, take home a mini pumpkin and receive a $5 Off Family Admission coupon to be used at the Haunted Pumpkin Festival.
  • Extra Activities include Haloween Crafts, Pumpkin Decorating, or Fishin' Ponds for an extra cost of $2 each.
  • Order a BBQ Hot Dog Lunch, or BYO.  Indoor lunch areas available.

Scarecrows, Pumpkins and Fall in the Country Program
Prairie Gardens tour guides will provide an enjoyable, educational tour especially designed for preschool, kindergarten or grade 1. Tour times are at 9:30, 11:30 or 1:00pm.  Please call ahead to reserve your group's date and time. Cost per child is: $8.00+ GST.
    • 1 1/2 hour guided interactive tour around our pumpkin farm and corn maze especially designed for preschool, kindergarten or grade 1. 
    • The children will enjoy a wagon ride, team build real scarecrows, love the farm puppet shows, indoor pumpkin land, race through a mini maze, and pet the goats, sheep and bunnies at the petting farm. If they are brave, they will have the option of tiptoeing through the haunted house and fairy tale trail. 
    • The children will also enjoy a Halloween cookie, take home a mini pumpkin and receive a $5 Off Family Admission coupon to be used at the Haunted Pumpkin Festival.

Weekdays
Ninety minute guided interactive spring planting program. Visit the petting farm - lambs, chicks, and baby goats, plant seed pots, picnic space available at campfire sites and playground areas.
