Thank you for considering Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm for your child’s Birthday Party.  Our Farm provides a FUN, relaxing environment to make your child’s birthday an unforgettable experience for young and old alike.    We are located in the heart of the Sturgeon County, just 25 minutes north of Edmonton. What better place to celebrate your special day! How Much Does It Cost?  The Birthday Party Package is $199.00 for up to 15 children. Each additional Child is $13.00. Adults are FREE! (to a max. of 15 adults.) Additional adults are $5 per person.  Prices are + GST Reservations: Please call ahead to 780.921.2272 to reserve your party date! To confirm your reservations, we’ll need a non-refundable deposit of $100 (credit card or in person). The balance is due when you arrive on the day of your party. When are our farm birthday parties held? Birthday parties are held May - October with time slots starting at 10:30am until 3:00pm.   Morning Arrival:  10:30am - 1:00pm 11:00am - 1:30pm 11:30am - 2:00pm 12:00pm - 2:30pm     Afternoon Arrival: 1:00pm - 3:30pm 1:30pm - 4:00pm 2:00pm - 4:30pm 2:30pm - 5:00pm   Evening Parties* Corn Maze Flashlight & Bonfire Parties 5:30pm - 9:30pm *Only by reservation during August & September

Birthday Party Details

How long is a party? Birthday parties are 2 1/2 hours long.   You may arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your time slot to set-up, and you will have 15 minutes after your time slot to clean-up. Failure to clean up your party area will result in a $50 fee charged to your credit card. What is included in my party? The party takes place in a private group use area which has 2 picnic tables and a trash receptacle.  The birthday boy or girl also  receives a bucket of feed for the kids to give to the animals.  Private Reservation for a Bonfire Site. (Firewood is included - we'll start your fire for you.  A minimum of 2 people must stay with the lit campfire at all times.) Wagon Ride around the Farm Admissions for your Guests (up to 15 Children and up to 15 Adults.) 1 token per child for the 'Fishin' Pond Game - where everyone gets a prize! Options: Bonfire Sites with Birthday Cabins or Heated Indoor Greenhouse Facilities are available to reserve for cake and gift opening for an extra fee. Birthday Cabin Sites - Add: $50.00 (these are large sites which include a bonfire and seating for up to 50 people.) Heated Indoor Greenhouse Area - Add $200.00 -  Includes strawbale seats for up to 100 people. Daily Rates are available for extended parties. What do children do during a party? The party begins with a tractor drawn wagon ride around the farm. Wagons leave promptly at the start of your party so advise your guests to arrive on time.  What else can they do? Children will enjoy unlimited access to our farm and mazes (Corn Maze Open from Aug-Oct) and Haunted House.They can also play in our animal center (Pirate's Cove Petting Farm) with many types of farm animals,  a Chicken Coop, the Peacock Aviary, Nature Trail,  and numerous playground areas located around our beautiful farm. What about decorations? We understand that you have a special theme in mind for your party and you may bring tablecloths, tablecloth holders, balloons, party favors and eating utensils to match your theme.   To protect our animals and the environment, we encourage you to thoroughly clean up at the end of your party.  Failure to properly clean the area will result in a $50.00 clean-up fee charged to your credit card at the end of your party.   Thank you for your cooperation. Who will be there to greet me? One of our friendly party hostesses will be on hand to greet you at the farm Sales Centre and give you your admissions badges. Can we barbecue? We do not allow barbecuing at Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm due to insurance restrictions.   What about smoking? There is no smoking within the gates of Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm.  Smoking may take place in your vehicles only. May we bring our dog? Campfire Hot Dog Picnic Packs – Delivered to your site. All you have to bring is the cake! Picnic packs are $40 and come complete with a dozen uncooked wieners, hot dog buns, marshmallows, condiments, drinks, and bags of potato chips. Napkins, plates and forks are provided for your birthday cake! Must be pre-ordered and prepaid.  Upgrade your Picnic Pack from Wieners to Bavarian Smokies - Add: $13 /dozen.  Add a dozen extra Dogs and Buns for $16.00 Add a dozen extra Smokies & Buns - $19.00 BYO Picnic - Only allowed at Campfire Sites.  Site service fee is an additional $35 to the package, which covers trash and site services.  Outside Food is not allowed in Concessions area.    Concessions Open Daily     Strawberry Café / Pumpkin Pie Cafe Concession, (Summer Menu includes Daily Lunch Specials, hot dogs, Ice Cream and Sundaes) (Fall Menu includes BBQ Beef on a Bun, Hotdogs,  Pumpkin Pie & more).
