Artist Samantha Williams
Interactive Story House Exhibition December 3rd & 4th , 10th & 11th
"I have created an ongoing series of clay houses. They are oddly shaped and precariously balanced in strange settings. These houses are meant to be viewed and seen by all ages but what fascinated me about this idea is the use of imagination. I want these houses to challenge the imagination.
A book or pad of paper will be left beside each one and I ask the viewer to tell a story about the house. Nothing more… It becomes almost like a child playing with dolls ( as I once loved to do) and creates a boundary free world where the imagination can soar! " Samantha Williams
