Lunch outings to Prairie Gardens offers a unique glimpse into the culture and heritage of the Bon Accord area - and are perfect for day trips, spousal programs, Red Hat clubs, senior groups, retirement lodges and active living complexes.
Tours include a light walk and an indoor segment featureing gardening or gems and jewels. Scheduled from June through August and afternoons during September and October, the tours include a lunch, and historical re-enactment of the life of Francis Pierce, the original settler of the property in the early 1900's, when the Athabasca Landing Trail saw hundreds of pioneers and gold rushers travel through the region.
Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm would like to offer our hospitality for your senior’s outing. It will be our pleasure to step on your bus to welcome you and your guests. We offer complimentary meals for the tour coordinator and coach driver.
Guests can shop at their leisure, exploring our specialty gift items, ghost town, petting farm, plants and charming garden centre. Then fill up on a down-home meal of our famous home-cooked meals. Optional activities include gem mining and jewelry making, or gardening mini-projects.

For your convenience, all group menu pricing is inclusive of beverage, tax and gratuity. In celebration of the Francophone connections across the region, we offer a French Canadian Lunch Menu with Tortiere (Meat pie), French Canadian Pea Soup (made with peas from our farm), organic greens, and Sucre' Creme or Strawberry Shortcake.
