We love to cultivate curiosity in our guests. Each year, we host thousands of school children of all ages for farm field trips. With 50+ farm fun activities and adventures, it will make planning your class school field trip a snap!

Tours are available in English or Spanish. Site is wheel chair accessible, which includes farm terrain and gravel parking areas, with wheelchair accessible port-a-potties.

Our field trip objective is quite simple; we want children to have fun while learning! Prairie Gardens & Adventure Farm offers unique hands-on learning experiences for students of all ages.

Students can put knowledge into action while interacting with live farm animals, challenging their critical thinking skills in our mazes, learning about how plants grow, sluicing for gems and discovering natural history while they explore our farm.  And it's a perfect fit for a daily physical activity program!

We offer Spring Growing Tours, Summer Day Camps, Fall Harvest & Pumpkin Patch Tours, and Christmas Gingerbread parties in December.

Bring your seniors group back to the farm for some good ole’fashioned fun, a hot dog roast or bring brown bag picnic.  There's lots of local history, gardening, gem mining and petting farm.  Catered lunch menu available upon request.

Company Picnics and Corporate Retreats with Team Building  May – October.
Wagon rides, farm tours, picnic tables, guided team-building retreats, catered food services offering regional cuisine  and customized programs for company and family outings.

Garden Walking Tours  July – August.
Garden Tours operate daily from 10 am -12:30 pm  by reservation.  

Family Night at the Maze - Saturday Evenings August-October.
Flashlight adventures by moonlight every Saturday night. Book a campfire site and have a hotdog & marshmallow roast. (Available for private group functions by reservation Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings).

Birthday Parties for Children, Tweens, Teens and even for Retirement Get-togethers!
Gather friends and family around the campfire, roast some marshmallows and have some fun!
